Public Art & Installations

Come and Celebrate with me!

This installation was my interpretation of "my space" which I created at SOMAarts Cultural Center last Spring (May 2011) in an exhibition called " If I had a space of my own" sponsored by Asian American Women Artists Association in San Francisco.

This installation is an effort to bring together all people to celebrate the gift of life, the abundance of nature and universal love. Spirituality of Hindu and Sufi philosophy is fused together. Mandala, the circular design on the floor is expanding energy and in the collage of several paintings on the wall, Rumi is whirling and singing songs of Love, Unity and Freedom.
